During a routine inspection
We saw staff promoting the care and welfare of people who use the practice by providing them with as much easy to understand information and advice as possible. They treated people with respect, listened to what they had to say and were very supportive, caring and knowledgeable.
The practice had policies and procedures regarding the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults. Staff were aware of the various types of abuse that can take place and were knowledgeable on how they would raise any concerns with social services or health authorities.
During our visit we saw that all areas including treatment and decontamination areas were clean and well maintained. People told us they were very pleased with the cleanliness and tidiness of the practice.
The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people receive and had an effective system in place to identify, assess and manage risks to the health, safety and welfare of people who use the service and others.
