During a routine inspection
A relative of a child who used the service told us that they, "Couldn't ask for nicer people" to provide care and support to the family. They also told us about the care provided, it's been, "Excellent, we're really pleased".
We found that staff knew people's care needs and how people wanted that care delivered. People were involved in making decisions around the delivery of care and care staff were flexible in meeting people's needs day to day.
Children and adults were safeguarded as the provider had taken steps to support staff to recognise and report potential instances of abuse. The provider also took steps to make sure that new starters did not begin delivering care until recommended checks around people's suitability had been made at the recruitment stage.
We found that the provider monitored the quality of care provided to people who used the service including assessing staff when delivering care in people's homes
