During a routine inspection
We found that people's needs were assessed and care and treatment was planned and delivered in line with individual needs, in a way intended to ensure people's safety and welfare. One person's carer told us " I think Homecomforts supply a wonderful package of care, we have had another agency and their support was lacking in comparison".
Through talking to staff and reviewing care plans and other documentation we found that the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent it from happening. Staff were able to tell us what they would do if a safeguarding issue arose and confirmed they had received training.
We found that the provider had not maintained accurate and appropriate records.
