During a routine inspection
People told us that they had been given full explanations about the vaccinations they would be receiving before they gave consent. One person said, 'it was an extremely thorough process'.
Records showed that there were effective systems in place for assessing and managing any risks associated with vaccinations. One person told us, 'it's been very reassuring to have such good advice'. There were procedures in place to deal with any emergencies which might occur.
The manager had a detailed and thorough knowledge of the vaccines that were being used at the clinic. The records of medicines in stock did not completely account for all medicines.
Records were detailed and comprehensive, and were stored securely. There were effective systems in place to ensure confidentiality.
