During a routine inspection
People expressed their views and were involved in making decisions about their care. We saw that people had requested changes to the care and support they received and these had been accommodated.
People were treated with respect. Staff were mindful to maintain a person's dignity at all times and support them to maintain their independence.
People's care was planned and there were detailed instructions to staff about how people wished to be supported. Staff were aware of people's physical and mental health needs and were aware of any long term illnesses or communication difficulties people had.
There were enough staff and all appointments were carried out in line with instruction from the funding authority. Staff were well supported and had access to senior staff for additional advice and support when required.
There were processes in place to monitor the quality of service provision. There was a process in place to obtain the views of people using the service and we saw that the majority of people were satisfied with the service they received.
