During a routine inspection
Another person described their dentist as 'gentle and calming'. They told us they were happy with the treatment they received.
We tried to telephone some people who used the service. We were successful in speaking with one person. They said the service they received was 'excellent' and went on to say 'It's the least painful dentist I've been to'.
Staff told us they felt supported. One of the staff we spoke with described the dentists as 'easy to speak to' and 'good to work for'.
People were involved in decisions about the treatment they received. The provider had arrangements in place to ensure the protection of people when x-rays were taken and for the decontamination of dental instruments. There were regimes to ensure the practice was kept clean and staff received training to ensure there competence in this and other areas. Training included adult and child protection.
The provider had systems in place to monitor the quality of service provided. We saw comments in survey questionnaires reflecting people's satisfaction with the service. They included the dentist 'is always considerate and gentle' and 'has given a long term good clinical service'.
