During a routine inspection
Care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare. People's dental needs were assessed before any treatment was planned. One person using the service said 'it's perfect.'
There were systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. There was an infection control policy and an infection control lead who was responsible for ensuring that all protocols were followed.
Staff received appropriate professional development. Staff received formal appraisals and personal development plans (PDP).
The provider had systems to identify, assess and manage risks to the health, safety and welfare of people and staff using the service. A risk assessment had been completed on the environment to identify and manage the risks to staff and people using the service.
