During the inspection we spoke with four patients, two dentists, three dental nurses and the registered manager. Patients were satisfied with the care and treatment they received. They said they were involved in decisions about their care and given costs before consenting to treatment. One patient told us the staff were "very conscientious and thorough."
Patients were assessed periodically and their records showed dentists checked to see if there were changes to their health or medication.
The practice was clean and hygienic. However, there was no system of audit to ensure appropriate hygiene and infection control guidance was followed.
Staff received appropriate training and clinicians undertook personal development required by their governing body.
