During a routine inspection
People using the service told us that it was "very good" and that they were "very impressed" with it. Before undergoing tests or treatment appropriate medical details were taken to ensure that it was safe for people to do so. Follow-up appointments were arranged at the clinic or with other healthcare professionals if appropriate. Staff had been trained in what to do in medical emergencies.
Staff at the service had been trained in safeguarding. They were aware of signs of possible abuse and how to report them, including to the local authority.
Staff received an induction to the service when they first started working there. They had annual appraisals where their performance and development was discussed.
The service undertook audits to check on the quality of the care and treatment they were providing. They also asked people to complete questionnaires and they used the responses to inform any changes they made to the way they provided care and treatment.
