People expressed their views and were involved in making decisions about their care and treatment. People told us that 'the staff are really nice here, always very polite' and 'the treatment plan was very comprehensive, easy to understand and gave me all the information I needed to make a decision."Before people received any care or treatment they were asked for their consent and the provider acted in accordance with their wishes. People told us 'the dentist was very good, he was very thorough when discussing the treatment plan and how long it will take' and 'I have a very comprehensive consultation before any treatment is started which included costs, treatment plan and the duration of the process.'
The provider was unable to demonstrate that sufficient recruitment checks had taken place putting patients at risk of receiving a service from staff who were not suitably vetted.
We spoke with four people who used the service. They said they could talk to the dentist, practice manager or the receptionist if they had any concerns. They were confident that staff would listen and deal with their concerns appropriately. Everyone we spoke with said they did not have any complaints about the practice.
