During a routine inspection
We also looked at the January 2013 feedback survey which was given to each person who had an MRI scan. This demonstrated a high level of satisfaction with information, personnel and care. One person had commented "overall a first class service'.
People felt that they had been given sufficient information about their care and treatment. They were referred by their own doctors for testing at Nuada Medical Specialists Imaging UK Limited and returned to their own doctors to receive their test results. People were cared for safely with a safety check prior to each MRI scan. There was emergency equipment available and staff had received suitable life support training.
There were sufficient staff available to undertake testing and to complete the reporting of the tests. Equipment was managed safely and was suitable for the activities undertaken. There were systems in place to monitor the quality and safety of the service, and staff meetings took place to discuss feedback received.
