During a routine inspection
We spoke with two people who told us they were extremely satisfied with the service. One person told us, 'I have followed the dentist from where they were practising previously as the service is excellent. I have been given lots of advice and had preventative work to look after my teeth.' Another person told us, 'The dentist explains everything very clearly including the anatomy and the treatment options, I have been given excellent care and it is easy to get an appointment to suit me.' The service acted in a responsive manner as it provided appointments to suit people's requests including early morning surgeries to allow people to see the dentist before their work. The dentist provided excellent follow up care and advice and was available on call to patients when needed.
People's dental records were stored on a computer with some paper records also kept including signed consent forms. We saw that staff were trained appropriately and worked well as a team to ensure an efficient service.
