During a routine inspection
Patients were given appropriate information and understood the treatment choices available to them. One patient told us 'The staff explain what I need and I often have more than one option to choose from.' Another patient said 'There is no pressure to make a decision. The staff are welcoming and informative they explain my options and the cost and I can choose.'
Patients experienced treatment suitable for their needs that ensured their safety and welfare. We saw that all patients received an individual treatment plan.
Patients were treated in a clean hygienic environment. Patients that we spoke with all confirmed that the practice was always cleaned to a high standard and that they had no concerns regarding cleanliness.
We found that there were effective recruitment and selection processes in place for the selection and management of staff, and the staff had had the necessary recruitment checks.
Patients who used the practice were asked for their views about the service they received. A patient told us 'This practice is excellent, nothing is too much trouble and I would never go anywhere else.' The provider had carried out a number of audits to assess and maintain good standards of hygiene, health and safety and a safe environment.
