During an inspection looking at part of the service

We spoke with ten people, they all told us that they like the staff that care for them and find them helpful and kind. People also said that the meals at the home are very good and that there is plenty of food available.

During a routine inspection

We spoke with 20 people living in the home. Without exception they all told us that they like their accommodation, that staff are friendly, kind, caring and helpful and that the meals are of a high standard. People also told us that activities are arranged to keep them occupied and that the home is kept clean and tidy.

We also spoke with two visitors who told us that when they were looking for a care home for their relative they visited the home unannounced. They said they had a good reception from staff and people living at the home were keen to tell them how much they liked living there.
