Our view of the service
We carried out this on-site announced assessment on 11 June 2024. We found the practice had met regulations. The practice had systems to manage risks, and the recruitment procedures reflected current legislation. Infection control procedures followed published guidance. Patients were treated with dignity and respect and their care and treatment was provided in line with current guidance. . At the time of our assessment, patients could access care, support and treatment when required. There was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement. Riverside Dental Spa is in the London Borough of Lambeth and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children. At the time of our assessment, the dental team included 3 dentists, 3 dental nurses, 2 dental hygienists, and 1 trainee dental nurse. The practice had 2 treatment rooms. During the assessment we spoke with the principal dentist, 1 dental nurse and 1 dental hygienist.

Staff gathered feedback from patients and demonstrated a commitment to acting on feedback. We viewed online reviews from patients which scored positively overall. Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness and the professionalism of staff.
