During a routine inspection
People told us their treatment had been explained to them and we saw records that confirmed this. One person said, 'They make sure you understand before they do anything.'
We found that people's medical and dental history was recorded and taken into account in planning their treatment. We saw that there were suitable arrangements in place to deal with foreseeable emergencies.
People were cared for in a clean and hygienic environment. There were appropriate policies, procedures and systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection.
We found that staff received appropriate induction and training and were supported in their continuing professional development. People told us the staff were friendly and professional.
We found that records were kept securely and were accurate and up to date.
