During a routine inspection
People that we spoke with confirmed that their medical needs were checked every time they visited the service. One person said, "[The dentist] asks what tablets I'm on and things like that [or if there has been] any change." Care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare.
Staff that we spoke with said that they felt supported by the service. One member of staff told us, "[The dentist] is someone you can talk to. If I have any issues, you can say the way that it is." Staff received appropriate training, professional development and appraisal.
We saw that people were treated in a clean and tidy environment. People that we spoke with told us that they found the surgery clean. There were adequate procedures in place to prevent the spread of infection.
The provider identified, assessed and managed risks to the health and safety of people who used the service and had regard to comments raised.
