During a routine inspection
We spoke to three people who were using the service. Everybody we spoke to told us they were happy with the dental treatment they had received. We were told, 'He came today to make sure my dentures fitted. They didn't quite fit comfortably at first but he adjusted them for me.'
People told us they did not have to wait excessive periods of time before being able to access an appointment. The dentist told us they would try and see people if there was an emergency.
We spoke with people about what they would do if they wished to raise a concern with the dentist and they told us they would be comfortable to speak with him about the concerns.
We asked people using the service if the dentist always wore personal protective equipment, such as disposable gloves and a mask. We were told, 'Yes he always wears the disposable items, I have no concerns about that. He always cleans his hands first as well.' Another person told us 'He always uses the disposable items every time he visits and takes the items away with him.'
