During a routine inspection

People were unable to tell us if they were happy living at Eversley House due to their disabilities. During our inspection people appeared happy and content. Relatives told us they were happy with the care being provided. One relative said, 'My relative gets the very best care'. Another relative said, 'The care has always been very good'.

During our inspection we saw that people were treated with dignity and respect. We saw that people were supported to participate in activities they enjoyed both at the home and in the local community.

We saw that people received their care in a positive and caring manner. We observed care being provided by staff who had undergone the appropriate pre employment checks to ensure that people were protected from harm.

We saw that people were protected from the risks of abuse because the staff had received the necessary training to identify and report safety concerns.

We saw that the provider had an effective system in place to regularly assess and monitor the service which focussed on service improvement.
