The provider told us about the refurbishment plans that are underway at the home. Communal areas and bedrooms are being redecorated and refurbished. New carpets have been laid in some areas. New equipment has been bought such as extra hoists and standing aids. People have been given a choice of differing sized beds and some people have had specialist beds provided for them.
The provider reports that they are also going to make changes to the internal structure of the home which will give the people who live there larger communal areas.
