During a routine inspection
We spoke to four people who used the service during our visit who told us that they were very satisfied with the treatment and care provided. One person said 'I was terrified to come because I had not been to the dentist for years. They made me feel very at ease.' Another person said 'the treatment is of a high standard and the staff are lovely.' This person also told us about the text reminders they received about their appointments and that they liked receiving tweets about treatment offers.
We saw that people had plenty of information about the services available and felt informed about the options and choices they had about their treatment and care.
We observed two people receiving treatment and looked at the files of six people selected at random and we saw that treatment was provided safely and met people's individual needs.
We saw that people were safe from infection during their treatment because the practice implemented required guidance and codes of practice on the prevention and control of infection effectively.
People using the service were treated by staff who were well trained and supported in their work.
There were effective comments and complaints systems in place at the practice.
