During a routine inspection
People told us they were given good information and explanations about their treatment options by the dentist. One person told us, "The dentist explained the treatment and the cost and I had a choice. They showed me everything on the screen so that I got the picture."
People experienced care and treatment that met their needs. Two people we spoke with told us they were satisfied with the treatment they received. One person said, 'The treatment has been very good and I have been satisfied.' We saw that people's records contained an up to date medical history so that staff had the information they needed about the person to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
We found that people were cared for in a clean, hygienic environment with effective procedures in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection.
People spoke positively about all the staff and described the dentist as 'very gentle'.
There was an effective complaints system in place. People felt able to express their views about the service and were confident they would be listened to. One person said, 'You would not worry about saying how you feel. They are approachable and not a bit intimidating.'
