People reported that the staff were friendly and helpful.People using the practice told us that they felt informed about their treatment options and the associated costs. They told us that they were asked for their consent prior to treatment commencing. This was reflected in the evidence that we found.
They felt that they were offered a safe service. They told us that the dentist discussed their medications with them and gave information regarding post care.
We found evidence that the practice had not completed the necessary Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) checks in relation to the dental nurses. We were told that the practice would apply for these immediately. We also found evidence that audits had not been completed as regularly or thoroughly as required. We were told that this would be rectified.
