During a routine inspection
People received sufficient information about the services provided and their individual treatment options to enable them to make a decision about treatment. A medical history was taken for each person and checked as part of their consultation and treatment. There were suitable arrangements in case of a medical emergency and staff had received life support training.
There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk of infection. Staff were able to describe the decontamination process to us and provided evidence to show that checks were carried out on all aspects of infection prevention and control.
Staff received suitable training and were registered with their professional bodies. Records were accurate and fit for purpose. They were stored securely and could be located promptly when needed.
