During this review on 07 February 2014 we have found that the provider has made the necessary improvements needed to minimise the risk of cross contamination to people who use the service and staff.
Patient treatment records that we reviewed included a copy of the patient's treatment plan which detailed what a patient could expect at each appointment. Patient satisfaction surveys we reviewed regarding the service indicated that patients thought that the service they received was, 'Excellent.'
The practice had effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection, although the environment of the surgery did not always meet the requirements to reduce the risk of infection.
Appropriate checks were carried out before staff began work.
