During a routine inspection
We looked at the provider's recent satisfaction survey results for November 2013 to which 20 people responded. Overall the respondents expressed high satisfaction levels with the service.
Staff reported the practice was aiming for best practice in infection control. Infection control audits were completed quarterly, which was more frequent than recommended in the 'Health Technical Memorandum 01-05: Decontamination in primary care dental practices' guidance for completion of these audits every six months.
The complaints policy was displayed in the reception area and visible to people using the service. There were no formal complaints recorded in the last 12 months.
