During a routine inspection
The practice had appropriate equipment available to respond to medical emergencies and staff had received training in its use. Staff were aware of their responsibilities if they had any concerns regarding the safeguarding of children or vulnerable adults.
Infection control practice was in accordance with Department of Health guidance and processes were documented and recorded. One matter raised was addressed immediately.
Staff received a range of appropriate training and continuing professional development to perform their roles. Any shortfalls noted were addressed immediately following the inspection.
The practice had an appropriate procedure and managed any complaints properly as well as responding positively to feedback from patient surveys and external audits.
