During a routine inspection
People told us they were given different options for treatment and information about the associated fees before treatment began. We saw signed treatment/consent forms on each person's treatment record. This meant that the dentist ensured people were fully informed prior to giving consent to the treatment and its costs.
One person who used the service told us: 'It is excellent. I can't speak highly enough about the service I get'. Another person said: 'I've been going to this dentist for years - I wouldn't want to go anywhere else'.
We saw that the service had facilities to undertake the decontamination and sterilisation of instruments. Staff we spoke with explained the processes that they followed to ensure that equipment was sterilised correctly. People we spoke with told us that the dental practice was always kept clean.
We found staff received appropriate training and support to provide care and treatment to people who used services.
The provider had effective systems in place to regularly monitor the quality of its service.
