During a routine inspection

On 4 September, during our inspection of Whole Tooth Dental Practice, we spoke with four people who were seeing dentists that day. They all told us that they had confidence in the surgery and were satisfied with the service they received. Two told us their whole family attended the surgery, as they were confident in the service provided. They told us the dentists explained their treatment options and provided clear information for them to make their own decisions on whole treatment plans.

One person told us, ''They are very good, friendly. The dentist explains everything very, very well, in a matter-of-fact way, in layman's terms. It is easy to get appointments.'' Another said ''The dentist is absolutely excellent, fantastic, I recommend it. They are very polite and helpful'' Another person told us, ''I would never go to anyone else, he is really reassuring.'' People told us they found it easy to get appointments at times that suited them, including late in the day.

The surgery had sufficient processes in place to ensure that treatment was delivered safely. All areas of the building were clean and tidy and there were robust infection control processes in place to ensure people were treated safely.
