During a routine inspection
We received the following comments from the patients: 'They [staff] are top notch. I've had my first appointment with a new dentist and it was very good. The dentist really took their time and gives lots of advice.' 'They are very thorough. They check my health and update their records when I visit.'
Patients told us their treatment options were explained fully to them, so they were able to make informed decisions about what treatments were best for them and which they would prefer. Patients confirmed they received thorough examinations and were provided with dental advice. This was further confirmed by inspection of dental records kept by the practice.
We found the service to be adhering to standards of infection control. There were systems in place to monitor standards and these were regularly reviewed.
We found staff were trained and supported to carry out their work at the surgery.
We saw there were systems in place to both monitor and further develop the practice to help ensure the best outcome for people using the practice.
