During a routine inspection
We saw treatment could be arranged at a convenient time, and people told us they did not experience any lengthy delays. People could consider their treatment options and any costs involved. They told us they did not have to make any decisions immediately.
Everyone we spoke with told us they were happy with the service and would recommend the practice to family and friends. One person told us, 'I find it very friendly and efficient. No one likes coming but it's necessary and this dentist does all it can to make you feel at ease.'
People we spoke with said everything always looked clean and they were satisfied with the standards of cleanliness. We saw there were good standards of hygiene and infection control practices in place.
The dental nurses said they worked well together as team and managed to discuss any issues that may have been raised during the working day. They said that they felt they were supported by the dentists and accessed training as they needed to.
The service was well led, because the provider had systems in place to regularly assess and monitor the quality of the service. These systems were used to improve the quality of the service.
