Oversight of staff training had been improved. Practice meetings were being held; improvements could be made to ensure the discussions held were documented.

Some policies had been updated; improvements should be made to ensure all policies are updated. For example the whistle blowing policy still had the named contact of a staff member who had not been at the practice for some time. Following the assessment, we saw that this policy had been updated. A lone working risk assessment had been completed. Patient feedback was being obtained; this could be evaluated to ensure improvements, where appropriate, were made. A radiograph audit had been carried out; improvements could be made to ensure actions are documented. A data security and protection toolkit had been completed. A disability access audit had been completed and an antimicrobial prescribing audit was being undertaken.
