During a routine inspection
Patients told us that good systems were put in place to support them in their care. One patient told us, 'The text reminders are great. I would have forgotten my appointment today if I hadn't received it'.
When we asked patients about the cleanliness of the dental practice they informed us that they had never had any concerns and that it was always clean and uncluttered. When we asked staff about the cleaning of the dental practice and the sterilisation of the instruments used, they were clear as to what their roles were and were able to demonstrate the processes they went through to ensure this.
Staff told us that they felt supported to do their job and had received adequate training through their induction programme and ongoing personal development plans. We saw that staff who required registration with a professional body were registered and that their registration was in date.
