During a routine inspection
One patient said 'They explain my treatment and reasons for it to me at every visit'. Another patient said, 'They would ask me if I like them to carry out the treatment or not and I will say yes before they proceeded, they are good'.
Care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare.
We spoke with three patients who used the practice about their experience of Lavender Close dental practice. They told us that they liked the practice. They commented "They provide an excellent service, if I was not happy with their service, I would have moved on a long time ago'. 'They are excellent and deal with dental matter very well. They are very good'. 'They are very good. They put you at ease'.
There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection.
Appropriate checks were not undertaken before staff began work.
The provider took account of complaints and comments to improve the service.
People had their comments and complaints listened to and acted on, without the fear that they would be discriminated against for making a complaint.
