During an inspection looking at part of the service
The service provided people with suitable information about the services available and costs of treatments. Also the two people we spoke with told us treatments and costs were discussed with the dentist.
We found people received care and treatment in a clean environment. There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk of infection. Staff were able to describe the decontamination process to us and provided evidence to show that checks were carried out on equipment used.
We found there were no systems in place to provide staff with formal supervision and appraisals. All staff were trained to undertake their roles. People told us they felt well treated by competent professionals.
People were given information about how to complain. The provider systematically reviewed and responded to complaints.
