During a routine inspection

People using the practice told us that they were happy with the service provided. They felt their dignity was maintained and their privacy protected. They said they were told about the treatment they were receiving and the costs involved. Comments included, 'The service is very good. The staff are very nice. I have had good information about the treatment I need and I have discussed this with the dentist. I signed a consent form before treatment was undertaken. The clinic is spotless. The staff seem to know what they are doing and are very good. I have no concerns or complaints. All my family also go to this clinic' and 'The service is okay. The staff are lovely. I have had good information about the treatment I need and I have discussed this with the dentist. I signed a consent form before treatment was undertaken. The clinic is clean and spotless. I have no concerns or complaints.'

They told us that they had been given details about what treatment they required and information to enable them to make a decision about their treatment. They also said that the dentists listened to them and talked through all the different treatment options.

People told us they felt at ease and reassured whilst receiving treatment at the dental practice. Comments included: "I don't have any concerns or complaints about this service.'

Staff commented, 'I like working here. The provider and practice manager are really nice and well organised. Training is good and I have recently attended the oral health and fluoride course', 'The staff team is small and we get on well together' and 'The provider is good and fair and make sure the staff are up to date with their training needs. The training is good here. We have recently completed our personal development plans and these are reviewed annually. The staff work really well together and it is a good team. The practice manager is very supportive.'
