During a routine inspection

We spoke to the practice manager, dental nurse, dentists and reception staff and found that the practice was well run and had good positive feedback from patients. The practice staff were willing to listen to patient suggestions on ideas of how to improve the practice. We found that patients were fully consulted on their care and were happy with the care they received and also that they were to given appropriate information to support their decision making.

We were informed that the practice did have plans to improve the decontamination room and processes and update two of the surgeries.

We observed that staff and patients were well supported and that there were appropriate practice policies, protocols and training in place to ensure that they were protected.
