During a routine inspection
People said that the staff respected their privacy and dignity. An example given was staff spoke in an appropriate manner. A person described staff as 'courteous and nice.'
People told us that they were able to ask questions about their treatment.
People said that the dentist provided them with all the available treatment options. For example, one person said 'the dentist explained the option of having white or silver filling. I was able to make an informed choice.'
People told us that they were made aware of how much the treatment would cost prior to having the treatment.
People told us that they were required to complete a medical questionnaire. At each visit the dentist always asked them if there were changes to their medical condition.
People said that the practice was comfortable and accommodating. For example, appointments were flexible to meet their needs.
People said that diagnostic test results such as x-rays were explained to them. Some people said that they were shown images on the computer explaining how their treatment would be performed.
People told us that they had confidence in the care and treatment they were receiving from the practice.
People whom we spoke with told us that the practice was 'very clean and tidy.'
