We spoke with three patients who told us they were happy with the service provided. One patient said they were "Very pleased...would not dream of going anywhere else". Patients told us they were involved in every stage of their treatment and that the dental team listened to their views and concerns about their treatment carefully and acted on their preferences.Patients said they had not had to wait long for their allocated appointment time and there was a flexible approach in the way new appointments were offered. We found that patient's treatment options, plans and costs were explained thoroughly and discussed with them. This meant that they were well informed prior to taking any decisions regarding their treatment.
Patients we spoke with told us they felt safe at the practice; however we found the practice did not have a clear process for raising a safeguarding concern in place.
Patients said that the practice was always clean and the dental team made the patients feel relaxed and comfortable. We found that the practice had good infection control measures in place which protected patients from the risk and spread of inspection.
Records we looked at showed the provider made regular checks of the service to ensure the patients received the treatment they needed and that the service was safe.
