During a routine inspection
We saw that people were provided with detailed information about their proposed care and treatment and that their consent was obtained before any treatment commenced. An assessment of people's oral and general health was carried out before any course of treatment. People were provided with a range of alternative treatment options where these were available. Care and treatment was planned and delivered safely, taking into account each person's wishes.
There were suitable arrangements in place for protecting people who used the service and staff against the risks of infection.
Staff working for the service were supported to deliver care and treatment safely, and to an appropriate standard.
People's views, comments and suggestions were taken into account in the way the service was managed. There were arrangements for monitoring and improving, where needed the quality and safety of services provided.
