During a routine inspection
We found the dental team were working together to provide a quality service. Some key staff, such as the practice manager had worked there for many years and had worked hard developing the service and ensuring compliance with the Health and Social Care Act Regulations 2010. There was good leadership and staff had individual roles and responsibilities which they were trained to undertake and they understood.
Patients told us they always found the premises very clean. We saw that procedures were in place to monitor cleaning and ensure tasks were completed. Care was taken with equipment to ensure patients safety and welfare.
The patients we spoke with were very complimentary about the staff. One patient told us, 'I have been coming here for years, they always ask me about my health. They explain everything to me and I have never had any concerns.' Another commented, 'The dentist is very caring and kind, and they explain everything. All the staff here are nice and polite.'
