During a routine inspection

People told us the staff were polite and friendly and that they were able to access appointments easily. A person described the care their child had received as very good and that they felt happy and confident in the treatment being provided. One person told us that as a new patient they felt they had been given a good explanation of the treatment needed and the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed.

People who used the service understood the care and treatment choices available to them. They were given appropriate information and were involved in making decisions about their care and treatment.

We found that there were suitable procedures for planning and delivery of care, staff were well supported, and appropriate guidance on cleanliness and infection control was followed. Records were stored securely and there were safeguarding policies in place but staff did not have up to date criminal record checks in place to ensure that people were protected from abuse.
