During a routine inspection
Patients we spoke to were involved in their care and treatment options, felt it was delivered in a safe way and that the practice was clean and hygienic. One patient said, “They have been very good and I would recommend them as they have provided clear information about the cost of my treatment.” Another patient said, “I referred myself here for treatment. After researching on the internet I found lots of positive comments about the practice and decided to use their service. They have been very good so far."
We observed members of staff interacting with patients in a courteous, polite and efficient manner. We also observed a dentist providing oral hygiene guidance.
We saw that the practice had implemented an infection control policy and that staff were encouraged to develop their skills and undertake appropriate training to help deliver safe and effective care to patients. One member of staff said, “It is a good place to work. I have worked my way up since working here and been supported with my training needs."
We looked at information from surveys and other audits undertaken by the provider to assess the quality of the service.
