During a routine inspection
There was information on display for patients about the treatment available and its costs.
Patients had their teeth and oral health assessed. When treatment was needed the dentist explained this to them, and they were usually given a written treatment plan which was signed by themselves and the dentist.
The service had processes for effective infection control. There was equipment in the treatment rooms for cleaning, decontaminating and sterilising dental instruments.
Staff were appropriately registered and had completed appropriate training.
The service had processes in place for managing the quality of the service.
