During a routine inspection
We spoke with four people who used the service. Two people had been recommended to the practice by friends. One person said they had been "Coming here a long time" and there were "No problems with the service".
We found that the provider had carried out regular reviews of the care provided to people which meant people's care and welfare was maintained. The provider had procedures and equipment in place to help manage any unforeseen emergencies. Records showed that staff had received the appropriate training to enable them to carry out their role effectively and safely.
People were protected from infection as processes and procedures where in place to reduce the risk of cross contamination. We saw that equipment used for sterilisation was in good working order and had been serviced recently.
Staff at the service were supported to undertake further training and we saw evidence of regular staff meetings and supervisions.
People were able to make complaints or comments about the service and the service also carried out patient satisfaction audits.
