During a routine inspection

During our inspection visit we spoke with three patients who had or were about to receive treatment. Patents told us they were happy with the service they received. Patients advised us the staff had always been helpful, polite, respectful and sensitive towards them and they said they had confidence in the staff's skills and expertise.

We received the following comments from the patients, "Everything is always explained to me and I am asked to complete a consent form before I undergo my treatment", "The standard of cleanliness is excellent", "You cannot fault it (the surgery), and "I would recommend it to any one." Another patient told us they were never rushed with their appointment and their examination was conducted in private. Patients told us their treatment options were explained fully to them, so they were able to make informed decisions about what treatments were best for them and which they would prefer. People confirmed they received thorough examinations and were provided with dental advice.

Patients told us that they did not have to wait long for appointments and they had been able to get appointments in the past at short notice. They also told us that waiting times had been minimal and as a mark of respect, they were always informed by the receptionists if there was a delay with their appointment time.
