During a routine inspection
One person told us as they were leaving after their appointment, 'Good job I have an excellent dentist.' and another person told us that the surgery was, "Really good."
We looked at people's treatment records and saw that people had regular visits and the records contained a full medical questionnaire. This meant that people were being treated safely and the surgery ensured that their dental health was maintained.
We spoke with two staff members who were able to identify different forms of abuse against vulnerable adults and children and knew who to contact if they had any concerns. This meant that people could be assured that staff were aware safeguarding procedures.
The service had systems in place to monitor the quality of the service. Infection control procedures were followed to maintain the safety of people who used the service.
