During a routine inspection
During our visit, we spoke with two dentists, two dental nurses and the senior dental nurse. We spoke with five people on the telephone following our visit.
People we spoke with told us that they were very happy with the dentists and other staff. People were made to feel welcome, reassured and relaxed.
Comments we received included:
'We come as a family and all get treated as an individual, all people who work at the practice are polite and show courtesy.'
'I always feel like I am in good hands.'
'They tell you right from the start what is going on and give you the options of the treatment available.'
People told us the choices they made were adhered to. One person told us 'You feel totally in control of what is happening to you.' People told us that before any treatment is carried out a full consultation takes place with the dentist.
Peoples told us the surgery, building was nice and clean, and always smelled nice.
Staff undertook a range of training so they were aware of current practices to meet people dental needs.
Systems were in place to monitor how the practice was run, to ensure people receive a quality service.
