During a routine inspection

People we spoke with told us they were happy with the dental treatment provided by the practice. One person said they had been with the surgery for many years and never had any reason to complain. "The staff are very nice." " I am always explained the costs beforehand, especially when it is a complex procedure", were some of the comments made by people using the service. They told us they always found the surgery clean and the staff wore gloves and masks during the treatment procedure to prevent the spread of infection.

We found that the people who used the service were involved in their care planning and received treatment which was based on an assessment of their needs. The provider followed appropriate procedures to prevent abuse and keep people who used the service safe. Staff followed infection control practices and we found the surgery to be clean at the time of our visit. Staff were supported in their professional development and clinical and other records were stored securely.
