During a routine inspection
People told us they were provided with the opportunity to discuss their treatment options and felt they were provided with sufficient information to make an informed choice. None of the people we spoke with told us they had any difficulty in making appointments. One person told us "They are very good and will fit you in as an emergency on the day if you are in pain".
People told us the practice delivered care and treatment in a way that met their needs. We saw that dental records were well documented and up to date.
We saw that the practice had systems to reduce the risk of infection. People told us the staff always wore gloves and other protective clothing to prevent cross contamination. This was confirmed by our observations on the day.
Staff told us they felt well supported by management and were offered appropriate training at frequent intervals. People using the service were protected in emergencies because staff were trained in first aid and had access to emergency medication and equipment.
